Tank Cleaning Services

Regularly cleaning and maintaining your RV’s tanks is essential to ensure proper functioning, prevent odors, and maintain a sanitary environment.

We clean your black, grey and freshwater tanks with extremely high-pressure water with specially designed nozzles. This process completely loosens everything; we literally scrub all of the internal surfaces of the holding tank. Once cleaned, the tank is backflushed until it “runs clear.” Our process takes about two hours to complete. Our process is:

  • Affordable and recommended by most RV manufacturers
  • 100% mobile – we come to you
  • Environmentally safe – we use only 100% water to clean your tanks
  • Creates very little to no mess
  • Does require full hookups (water, electric, and sewer dump)

Here’s a guide on how to maintain each type of tank:

  1. Black Tank (Waste Tank):
    • Empty the Tank: Start by emptying the black tank at a dump station. Make sure the valve is fully open to allow all waste to flow out.
    • Flush the Tank: Use a black tank flush system, if available, to rinse the inside of the tank. Alternatively, you can use a hose and a tank wand to spray the interior and remove any remaining waste.
    • Add Tank Treatment: After flushing, add an RV-specific black tank treatment to help break down waste and control odors. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the appropriate amount.
    • Routine Maintenance: Regularly use the tank treatment to keep the tank clean and odor-free between dumps.
  2. Grey Tank (Wastewater Tank):
    • Empty the Tank: Drain the grey tank at a dump station. This tank typically contains wastewater from sinks and showers, so it’s important to keep it clean.
    • Flush the Tank: Use a grey tank flush system, if available, or a hose to rinse the interior of the tank. This helps remove soap scum and food particles.
    • Add Tank Cleaner: Add an RV-specific grey tank cleaner to the tank to help break down grease and soap residue. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the appropriate amount.
    • Routine Maintenance: Regularly use the tank cleaner to maintain a clean and odor-free grey tank.
  3. Fresh Water Tank:
    • Drain the Tank: Empty the freshwater tank by opening the drain valve. Make sure all water is drained out before proceeding.
    • Sanitize the Tank: Prepare a sanitizing solution by mixing 1/4 cup of household bleach with 15 gallons of water. Fill the tank with the solution and let it sit for several hours to disinfect the interior.
    • Flush the Tank: After sanitizing, drain the tank and refill it with fresh water. Run the water through all faucets and fixtures until the bleach smell is gone.
    • Routine Maintenance: Regularly sanitize the freshwater tank to ensure clean and safe drinking water.

By following these steps, you can keep your RV’s black tank, grey tank, and freshwater tank clean and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic RV experience.
